Meet Andy, the Founder of Forest Edge Preschools

Andy has over 15 years experience in ECD: as a teacher, principal, manager, adviser to Governments and NGO’s, and as a mother of two young boys. Andy loves the rhythm, intensity, and fun, of school life, and the energy of building and managing great teams and community.

Hailing from the Eastern Cape, Andy has developed an immense passion for early childhood development (ECD), understanding that is one of the most undervalued and powerful levers for change - for children, for women, and for the economy.

The early years are a critical window for all-round development, and the quality of care and education during this phase shapes short- and long-term learning, well-being, and potential to succeed.
